Growing up in a musical family in NYC, Blackman has maintained a successful career as a professional singer in both lead, background, and session capacities, along with some acting work.
She has recorded and performed with artists such as Don Blackman, Kanye West, Melba Moore, Popcaan, Marcus Miller, David Sanborn, Lenny White, Roy Ayers, Michal Urbaniak, Evelyn Champagne King, Jean Carne, Lenny White, Needtobreathe, Gavin DeGraw, and more, as a Grammy nominated and Gold Record Awarded vocalist.
Her TV work includes featuring in Netflix series Luke Cage, performing live on Good Morning America, Good Day New York, as well as New York Citys SummerStage. She is also a featured performer on TV show The Voice - Open Mic Series in New York City.
