Context of the song: Columbia records asked the 4 boys of BTR to write and record a Summer Hit, Midnight Somewhere was the song by Kendall, which received several accolades. In the end, the label preferred to buy the rights to the song Song 2 by Blur and they discarded Midnight Somewhere (this all happened in 2012). This clip of the song was shown by the boys on an IG live at a photo shoot for Fall.
