Community in 'shock' after Carwyn Scott-Howell's ski death

A community in Powys is in shock following the death of a schoolboy during a skiing holiday in the French Alps, a councillor has said.

The boy, named locally as seven-year-old Carwyn Scott-Howell from Talybont-on-Usk, fell 160ft (49m) to his death after leaving the piste in the resort of Flaine on Friday.

Liam Fitzpatrick, the independent county councillor for Talybont-on-Usk, said residents would support the family in any way they could.
