1. What is the problem now?
   The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly emerging as the manifestation of the networked society vision — everything that benefits from a connection is connected. McKinsey predicted that IoT could generate up to $11.1 trillion per year in economic value by 2025. Despite the potential of IoT, there are roadblocks ahead: lack of scalability, privacy concerns, and lack of functional values.

2. What is IOTEX?
   IoTeX is dedicated to creating a decentralized platform of IoT-oriented and privacy-centric blockchain to address the scalability, privacy, isolat-ability, and develop-ability issues of IoT DApps and ecosystem growth through its core innovation of the ’blockchain-blockchains’ architecture. IoTeX is aimed to be the one who connect the physical world block by block as well as push the frontier of blockchain 3.0.
   One of the key differences between IoTeX and other prominent IoT projects like IOTA and IoT Chain is that scalability will be achieved via the subchains, as opposed to the Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) approach. This is what makes this project particularly attractive, given this technology is in its infancy, IoTeX could be an excellent hedge against the other DAG based projects.

5. What is the development plan and the Future of IoTeX?
   We aim to release IoTeX's testnet in April and mainnet in October. IoTeX’s long-term plan focuses on designing IoTeX subchain, SDK, and developer tools, as well as collaborating with other IoT companies to build DApps utilizing the IoTeX blockchain platform.
   IoTeX will be the foundation of the technology, economy and ecosystems of the IoT world. IoT organizations will construct or reconstruct their business models and ecosystems using IoTeX blockchain. In this system, users are not only the consumer of IoT devices but also the advocates, marketers, and even service providers.
