Skelton boys' aunt to Fox 2: Father should 'quit being a coward'

The aunt of three missing boys from Morenci is challenging their father to "tell someone" what happened to them.

John Skelton faces parental kidnapping charges after his three sons -- Alexander, Andrew and Tanner -- disappeared during Thanksgiving. According to the Associated Press, Skelton says he

19-year-old Courtney Derby, the boys' older sister, and Tennille McCain, the boys' aunt,

"Quit being a coward because no man would have done what he has done. Don't be a coward. Tell someone," McCain told the TV station.

Since authorities have been searching for the boys, various relatives have called on Skelton to disclose more information about his sons. Sandra Arens, another aunt,

to "open up" about "things others might not get from him."

that they were assured that the boys were safe while the boys' mother, Tanya Skelton,

she feels that they are still alive.

"The I love yous and the screaming coming out the door. You forgot to give me a kiss. You forgot to hug me. Even snow, rain … the middle one and the youngest always running out the door. No shoes on, mom's yelling get inside, you're going to get sick. They didn't care. They wanted a kiss from their sister. I mean, that's what I miss," Derby told Fox 2 on Friday.
