Skelton tells wife she will never see her boys again

John Skelton has had two court dates this past week in Lenawee County Circuit Court. Tuesday, he represented himself in a divorce hearing. Wednesday, he waived his rights to an arraignment in his criminal case. Judge Margaret Noe setting the trial date for August 26th.

John Skelton, 39, has been in jail since shortly after Andrew, 9, Alexander 7, and Tanner, 5, disappeared from his Morenci home during a Thanksgiving visit. He is being held in lieu of $90 million in bonds while he awaits trial on kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment charges that carry maximum life and 15-year prison terms.

During the divorce hearing Tuesday, Tanya Skelton was given full custody of the boys if they are found. In open court, John Skelton told his wife that she will never see the boys if she has custody. According to reports from the Daily Telegram, Skelton requested joint custody and denied taking the kids. He maintains that he turned the boys over to an organization on Thanksgiving Day.
