There are two stories to these photos that I find to be fascinating. First, is the obvious - a person parked in a Walmart parking lot between spots so nobody could park next to them. And somebody got revenge without even touching the vehicle. Take a look:

Just in case you can't make it out, it says "A**hole Parking Only".

If you ask me, a perfect way to get the message across without damaging someone else's property.

But here's where the story gets even more interesting - my colleague Rich Birdsall at our Townsquare sister station, WHWK in Binghamton, NY, wrote an article with the original photos and posted the article to Facebook.

The comments that followed actually surprised me.

As expected, there were plenty of people admonishing the driver for being a jerk. But there were also a lot of people defending the driver, saying that they do the same thing to protect their vehicles.

Look, if your vehicle is that precious, don't take it out. If you do use it for what it's meant for - you know, going places, park it away from other cars if you're that worried about it.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see any valid excuse for that kind of inconsideration. It's a total middle finger to everyone else who bothered to actually follow society's rules and park between the lines like a normal human being.

So what do you think, is this person a jerk? Is the mystery chalk drawer a jerk? Is the person who parked the car justified? Do you ever park like this? Chime in below in the comments section!
