BROOK PARK, Ohio– A wrong number led to long-lasting love for Crystal and Mark Darby of Brook Park.  They met 28 years ago after Crystal dialed a wrong number. She thought she was calling her friend Mark, but she reached someone else named Mark.. and they kept on talking.

Crystal said just like the story of the couple who fell in love after an accidental text, things like that can happen and have a happy ending. “…well a lot of people were making comments that you know that’s not going to last and I thought, well you know that’s not necessarily true because we met 28 years ago when I dialed the wrong phone number,” she said.

Crystal and Mark have two sons and are getting ready to celebrate their 24th wedding anniversary.
