Sheriff: Man stirs the pot by lighting joint in Tennessee court

WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) - A man is custody after smoking marijuana in front of a judge in Wilson County, Tennessee.

Spencer Alan Boston was charged with disorderly conduct and simple possession, Wilson County Sheriff's Office Lieutenant Scott Moore confirmed to FOX 17 News.

Boston was arrested after the incident took place in the Wilson County courtroom on Monday. According to Lt. Moore, Boston expressed a view that marijuana should be legalized at the podium.

He then reportedly reached into his pocket and pulled out a marijuana cigarette. No additional details have been provided at this time.
